Halal KFC

London Muslim warmly congratulates Fast Food giant KFC on finally deciding to open Halal-only branches in London, albeit on a trial basis.

The KFC stores taking part in the trial are:

Lea Bridge Road - E10 7DN
Beckton - E6 4LG
Edmonton - N18 2XA
Hounslow West - TW4 7DJ
Upton Park - E13 0AR
Forest Gate - E7 8BA
Bethnal Green - E2 0AH
Tottenham Hale - N17 9FR

However, with Domino's Pizza and Nando's already established in the Halal market I'm bemused with the cautious approach adopted by both KFC & McDonald's who I understand have a Halal outlet in Southall.

Should anyone from KFC or Mac's read this do write in and let us know when/if we can anticipate these trials becoming permanent. After all, some of the 1 million Muslims in London could be rather partial to a finger lickin Halal Zinger.
