American Jews hold private meeting with Obama

The New York Times has a report on what was supposed to be a private meeting between American Jewish leaders and President Obama. The meeting was held in order for Jews to express their concern to Obama about his criticism of Israel on the illegal settlements and apparent softning on his Iran policy.

While London Muslim is not surprised by the Israel Lobby's ability to summon the US president to a meeting what does seem increasingly apparent is how some in the lobby appear less guarded in unequivocally pursuing Israeli interests ahead of America's interests.
