While London Muslim has previously mentioned the changing tone of Americans towards Israel I think the following question by Tom Brokaw to President Obama was an astonishing example of that change:
Tom Brokaw:
What can the Israelis learn from your visit to Buchenwald and what should they be thinking about their treatment of Palestinians?
Obama:
Well, look there’s no equivalency here. The Holocaust is sui generis and I would not presume to ever try to suggest to Jews how to think about the Holocaust.
Can you ever imagine a British Journalist from Murdoch's empire or a Paxman/Dimbelby asking that question of our Prime Minister?
