London Muslim makes no claim to being a scholar of Islam however, while the Quran prohibits the consumption of Alcohol my understanding is, as a last resort, where there are no other substitutes, Alcohol is allowed for Medicinal purposes only.
For those who support the refusal to use the swine flu gel do you not realise you provide succour to the likes of the Daily Mail to run with these Islamophobic stories and portray Islam as a backward faith struggling to cope with modernity. This is the story that all should be reading about Alcohol consumption.
Vaccines used to inoculate children contain alcohol and are consumed unlike the Gel which is not consumed but only wiped on the hands. Are these Muslims also aware that the bread they eat contains pork that the fruit juices they drink contain emulsifiers thus traces of alcohol that baby wipes contain alcohol.
This is the same mindset that leads Muslim medical students (you would think they have the odd brain cell) to behave like this.

The lot of them are idiots. Does that mean I'm racist?
ReplyDeleteIn the case of muslim people I think there might be no bigger problems in that respect of banning the consumption of alcohol in schools or in public institutions anyway they seem to have a very different life by comparison with the culture from other countries.
ReplyDeleteMuslims don't actually have a great deal of problems banning from drinking alcohol, since their religion is very strict in that respect, so what is the big deal?
