As a result, overjoyed with the signing of Adel Tarabat from Spurs who when he was with us last year looked an excellent prospect. With QPR now sponsored by Gulf Air it makes good business sense that, subject to being good enough, QPR seek to ensure their players (and supporters) are broadly reflective of West London's diversity. A few more good Muslim players (sorry Zesh) and Edgware Road will be deserted on match days.
The next step is to ensure through the outstanding work of Andy Evans and his Community Trust team QPR bring on young Muslim football talent from the Bush and White City.
Talking of glory seekers its interesting to see large numbers of black and Asian kids and their parents support certain London clubs who traditionally have had a rather ugly racist following namely Chelsea (Headhunters) & West Ham (ICF). All the more bemusing is watching (for some reason) mainly Asian players on a Sunday down the local park wearing Man Utd & Liverpool shirts when the furthest north they've travelled is Hounslow or Southall. Bizarre.
Come on u Rsssss.

They're youngsters, and entranced by living their dream of playing in the fantasy football league. Lets face it, the furthest north most Man U and Liverpool players have been is Barcelona. It'll come with time, Look at boxing. Prince Naseem, Amir Kahn. Remember snooker? Joe Johnson.
