Sadiq Khan is the UK's first Muslim Privy Counsellor

London Muslim warmly congratulates Sadiq Khan on his appointment to the Privy Council thus becoming the first Muslim to achieve such a position.


As the only blog that championed Sadiq's deserved appointment to the Cabinet naturally his continuing rise through the political ranks is all the more pleasing.


However, London Muslim must continue to confess misgiving's about Sadiq on two fronts. Firstly, why is a Tooting born lad supporting Liverpool FC (glory seeker) and what's with his dress sense back in 70's with those flair jeans?
