London Muslim was shocked at the Lockerbie atrocity and for those of us who live in London still has not forgotten the appalling murder of PC Yvonne Fletcher shot for simply doing her job outside the Libyan embassy.

However, today's news about vile New Labour war monger Jack Straw who is shamefully elected by Blackburn Muslims like Lord Patel and the continuing controversy over the conduct of the Lockerbie trial by the likes of Dr Jim Swire who tragically lost a daughter at Lockerbie, is I believe leading to the reputation of a growing Muslim nation and its people being dragged through the mud due to the publicity surrounding Al Megrahi's release.

What is not well known in the West and in particular the UK is the remarkable progress being made in the welfare of Libya's people since Colonel Gadaffi repaced King Idris another western installed tyrant. Colonel Gaddafi has never been given the credit he and his government deserve for the peace, stability and fair distribution of wealth Libyan people enjoy as a result of Libya's approach to Socialism. The Libyan Government ploughs its national wealth into is people for their improved welfare.

Unlike other African countries whose people starve Libya is a growing oasis of prosperity which has been held back by western embargoes.

London Muslim wishes Libya and its people well and looks forward to it becoming a rapidly prosperous Muslim Nation.
