Saudi Prince survives suicide attack

Ironically the Saudi Minister responsible for their counter terror strategy narrowly survived an assassination attempt on his life.

London Muslim is currently reading the The Siege of Mecca about the rather hushed up attempt to overthrow the House of Saud. My interpretation of recent events in Saudi is that the royal princes days are numbered and they should start considering exile in the riveria.

The opposition to the House of Saud is often portrayed as Militants and Al Qaeda vs Moderation which is a huge misinterpretation and oversimplification of rapidly growing unease at the behaviour of certain members of the royal family.
