Beyonce accused of imorality by Egyptian MP

Poor Beyonce must be beginning to feel she not particularly liked or wanted by Muslims. Fresh from cancelling her gig in Malaysia the usual suspects are kicking off in Egypt about her immoral act of singing and all that bootylicious stuff that I gather is called dancing.

The difficulty we Muslims sometimes get ourselves in is the level of inconsistency that we seem to adopt with regard to in this instance entertainment. While some countries will understandably feel the act is inappropriate and goes against the fundamental tenets of Sharia others presumably like the Gulf states which have large expatriate communities eg the UAE will allow Kylie Minouge in to wiggle her bits.

There has to be balance in allowing those who want to see such acts in Muslim countries to do so while not violating any laws just like we Muslims are allowed to engage in our customs and traditions in non Muslim countries without violating any laws. Simple really when you think about it
