Beautiful Muslim, Laila Rouass was also called a "terrorist" on the BBC's Strictly come Dancing. I've already highlighted her being called a "Paki" by her Dance partner the Berk but casual references to Muslims being terrorist cannot be allowed to enter our living rooms on high profile BBC programmes.
As a result London Muslim urges all Muslims and non Muslims to please support Laila by demanding the dismissal of the vile Anton the Berk by contacting the BBC to complain.

Seems to me that Anton Du Beke is just an all round creepy wierdo rather than a racist per se and may (perhaps!) have a learned an important lesson over all this:

That said, you may have a point in suggesting people vote for Laila.
Many of the Strictly voting fiascos over recent years strongly suggest that while some groups in society vote in packs: Scots, Welsh, cricket and rugby fans, etc, black and Asian people either don't watch BBC in any numbers or don't vote for "their" candidate the way the Welsh, Irish, Man Utd supporters, etc do.
So far this time it's going that way: Martina Hingis (Czech); Richard Dunwoody; Rav Wilding (half-Mauritian). :(
Personally, I'm not watching it anyway in protest at Strictly's attitude to women over 30.
If you really want to know what causes 'racism' (for clearly want of a better word) it's bloggers like this one..who see offence and attacks on Muslims everywhere he/she goes, and seeks revenge against such - even the slightest hint of crtiticism. Ironic, considering you no doubt won't accept any of the more legitimate criticisms of your fellow radical muslims causing chaos and destruction on this planet. So if you want to rid the bias that people naturally feel against Muslims, I would suggest you start by gtting rid of your own. NOTE: no Sikhs; Hindus or Buddhists are finding fault or offence in everything, are they?
ReplyDeleteYou want us to support this woman? On what basis do you call yourselves a Muslim site?
