Asda goes Halal

Fantastic news that Asda has decided to stock Halal meat as reported by one of the UK's leading Islamophobic journalists Edward (big ears) Jeory.

However, at the moment it only appears to be in East London and not surprisingly local MP Jim Fitzpatrick is not happy.

Incidentally, Edward Jeory is another of the Israelite scum that Desmond's Excrement specialise in employing. London Muslim suggests all Muslims keep an eye on his content. Jeory came from the East London Advertiser and his agenda is increasingly becoming apparent. Notice his use of the term "racial backlash".

London Muslim is way past the point of simply expressing disappointment that Richard Desmond allows his attack dogs to continue to negatively focus and stereotype Muslims. Ultimately this approach is becoming dangerous because what Jeory and Desmond are implicitly trying to promote is a backlash against Muslims thus deflecting the BNP's attention from the likes of Desmond.

Bearing in mind the nonsense Jeory writes about Muslims his nose, if at all possible, seems to be getting longer.

  3. I was shocked today to go into Asda on the Isle of Dogs to see tat English people had been marginalised by this operator with its Halal only butcher - by all means have a section for Halal - but not at the cost of not accomodating Englisg people - The insult was the poster - "ITS ALL GOOD, ITS ALL HALAL - BRITSH MEAT - with Britsh Meat embossed as a Union Jack font

This is disgusting and in my view Racism against the ingigineous Christian English population

  4. ASDA Southgate (North London) now has an exclusive Halal butcher next to the fishmonger. I aired my views to - not a manager as promised (and by the way had to wait for 25 minutes) - some pan-faced stony defensive representative, who gave me some nonsense about the local demographic and that the reason was because their butcher was a halal butcher (???). She also offered to show me where I could find fresh non-halal meat in the store. Yes but where's the 'western' counterpart for the existing halal butcher? My fear is that there is a lot of ignorance in our culture with regards to halal meat and THAT is why they have only a halal butchers: non-muslims will BUY IT ANYWAY and ASDA KNOWS THIS! It's either ignorance or passive complacency or they just don't care how the animal has been slaughtered. Well I DO CARE and for one, wish they would show a video next to the halal butchers demonstrating the method of animal slaughter used. In a way the problem is solved for me as I won't be going there anymore. Really, I myself am quite tolerant and wouldn't be outraged had there been a standard butcher alongside or elsewhere in the store, but having not, having favourited their Muslim customers, insulting the rest of us, and mocking the ignorant (Halal meat? oooh, sounds exotic!) I am aghast with fury! I know that others have complained since I asked but I don't believe the nonsense about the local demographic, nor do I believe Britain has quite become a Muslim state..... yet!

This is an expoitative move by ASDA and it is wrong for them not to accomodate those of us who know what Halal stands for. Rest of the country: YOU ARE NOT ALONE! But you must complain: ASDA Stores Ltd. ASDA House, Leeds LS115AD Tel: 01132 435435

  5. You're all buying it in all the other supermarkets, but it's not labelled as halal in case you might not want to buy it. The UK has been a trial halal accreditation country since 2009. Lots of our mainstream meat is halal, buy wisely. What makes them think that we, the majority, want to eat the religiously slaughtered food of the minority, makes me sick, bloody cheek !!!!!!

  6. To all the whiners on here - you've all most likely been gorging on halal curries and kebabs(from halal signed establishments) for the last 20 years, without batting an eye lid. I really don't blame you for your views - I blame the extremist British tabloid press, feeding and stoking this islamophobia for years, and doing untold damage to future peace.
