Black or White

Yasmin has an interesting article in the Mail about what appears to be the growing demand by both black and Asians to look white.

Difficult to pinpoint one area that is fuelling this view as it appears multi faceted from individual cultures that value a whiter skin through to advertising billboards and television that constantly promote a white blue eyed blonde vision of beauty. Moreover, by just writing this article I'm sure Google advertising will crawl the content and ensure a number of cosmetic skin lighteners will be advertised in the banners which for those of you who continue to mention it I have no control over.

On closer examination its actually rather sad that people are popping off to the plastic surgeon for a nose job or down to the local cosmetics counter for a skin lightener because in their opinion the peer version of beauty differs from their own individual perception when they look at themselves in the mirror.

  2. Has anyone heard of NoseSecret instant nose correctors instead of nose surgery?
