A new Islamic Center established in Qatar called the Qaradawi Center is to promote amongst things inter faith dialogue and Women's rights within Islam.
London Muslim welcomes anything that challenges the misconceptions about Islam and as I've done previously congratulate the work of the lovely Sheika Mozah bint Nasser the wife of the portly Qatari ruler.
Women's rights and Islam? Surely an oxymoron.
ReplyDeleteInterfaith dialogue? It would be helpful if other faiths were allowed to practise at all in that part of the world. But where Islam dominates, other faiths are persecuted.
