Saudi Arabia's Paper Tigers

Saudi Arabia's Interior Minister Prince Abdul in a indirect threat to Iran has warned about the "resort to force" if anything kicks off during the Hajj.

The Saudis are understandably jittery about the war of words with Iran which in my opinion sounds ominous and rather worrying.

As the situation in Yemen continues to sadly deteriorate the Saudi Army seems to be having a bit of a tough time taking on a handful of Houti rebels despite the billions of dollars spent by the Saudis they have proved themselves completely inept militarily.

London Muslim believes the gramophone diplomacy by the House of Saud is ill advised bearing in mind their Dad's Army approach to the Houtis. In addition, as I've mentioned previously the last time major trouble occurred during the Hajj in 1979 the House of Saud in a hushed up episode called on the French to liberate the Holy Mosques via an elite batch of special French commandos.
