Frankly, George Osborne is such a total dimwit that I would have thought anyone would want him to stay as far away from Islamic (or any other sort of) banking and finance as possible! ;-)

ReplyDeleteI have stumbled across this twitter. Is it possible to have the intellectual courage to be Pro- Arab, Pro-Palestinian and also Pro-Israel at the same time? If we are all to live together in harmony should we not look out for each other?
I am impressed by the energy and support you demonstrate for muslim members of your community and their accomplishments. I hope and believe that soon there will be far more muslims in our political arena.
But is this sense of pride in the fact a friend of Israel is going to loser her seat really a constructive use of your energy? Does this attitude promote peace for all? Or just confirm the foregone conclusion that in many parts of the muslim world, you must define your 'mulsimness' by your blanket opposition to anything israel related. Period.
