Islamic Games Cancelled

You really could not make this up. The Islamic Solidarity Games have been cancelled over a row about what to call the Gulf.

The Arabs would like to have the word "Arab" before the Gulf in the design of the medals while the Iranians are keen to have the word "Persian".

London Muslim has a suggestion before the Arabs presumably spend millions on Non Muslim PR consultants to try and resolve this situation. Why not remove both words Arab and Persian and continue to call the Gulf, well the The Gulf.
