Ayalon summoned the Turkish ambassador in order to complain about a Turkish programme which depicted Mossad as child killers. The Minister then proceeded to sit the ambassador on a lower chair, took the Turkish flag away from the room and then continued with his undiplomatic ticking off.
Not surprisingly the proud and newly assertive Turks took offence and demanded an apology which eventually the Israelites provided.
The moral of the story in my opinion is that Israel would not waste its spit on the Piss artists running Saudi, Egypt and the rest of the Gulf. However, in the case of a proud, fierce and democratic giant of a Muslim country under the outstanding leadership of Tayep Erdogan even the deranged psychopaths, and yes in the case of Gaza, child killers who run Israel capitulated.
