Maryam Khan campaigning in Bury North

Looks like Mariam Khan the Labour candidate in Bury North may need to be more suitably attired when campaigning with Dad Cllr Afzal Khan in the forthcoming general election.

Dear LM. Is your rather pretty candidate multicultural? Her ensemble has more than a touch of the Hindu to me, though I'm no expert.

While Ms Khan may replace the current MP as a candidate, given current events I fear that her chances of entering Parliament at the coming election may be somewhat limited by factors outside her control.

  2. Dear Ms Khan

I have a question, how are you going to uphold relations in Bury North When you cannot uphold personal relations such as your marriage? Sorry for the frankness, however all traits of a person must be considered upon election.

Please do email me on notothewar@live.com

  3. Mariam Khan,

How can you represent a Young Pakistani Muslim"?

You are not young my sweet. You are nearly 28.

You are not a very good Pakistani(when is the last time you stepped foot in our beloved country?)

And Muslim? ha no comment. You are against Islam4uk, dress like a tart, support troops that kill muslims and are a very promiscuous. Sorry but we dont need fakes like you representing us!!

  4. LMAO, I love some of the comments.

As for her marriage, she will be a very good politician, considering her marriage was a sham, she's a born liar, and thus she will fit into the labour party well. To add to that will do whatever it takes to f*** anyone over that doesn't do what she wants.

I really hope that the people of bury do not vote that creep in!

I know from first hand experience what kind of person she really is!

  5. As a mother and a young muslim woman i'm ashamed and disgusted in the way she has portrayed herself throughout her campaign. She dresses so vulgar and has no self respect. Also shame on her father.

  6. I stumbled across this page when looking for information on our new labour candidate. I quite frankly can't believe the comments above. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. You are clearly narrow minded and very dissatisfied with life in the UK so please find somewhere more palatable you can peddle your blinkered, insane views. The further away the better. I trust the sentences aren't too long for you to understand.

  12. God wants her to take her head out of the clouds...and that is exactly what he has done. She is a nasty piece of work!! no-one is jealous, there is nothing to be jealous of. We are happy for the other MP's muslim women who stood for there constituency and won. Mariam Khan is not worthy in any way shape or form, and that shone through on May 6.

  14. WHAT HORRIBLE, UNCALLED FOR AND VITRIOLIC COMMENTS. SHE IS A PLEASANT ENOUGH, GOOD INTENTIONED AND HARD WORKING GIRL WHO HAS A VERY NICE FATHER AND LOVELY YOUNGER SISTER. SHE WAS TOO INEXPERIENCED THIS TIME BUT STILL GOT 16,000 VOTES. SHE WILL LEARN FROM ALL THIS EXPERIENCE AND INSHALLAH SHE WILL BE AN MP NEXT TIME ROUND.

  15. To me she does come across as someone who's only objective is to acheive her own personal goals. She really does not have much consideration for the betterment of the muslim or any other community. She uses all the tools available to her to do so, femininty, beauty, being of ethnic origin etc. However, in saying the above most other aspiring politicians probably behave the same way. Unfortunate, for her she does not have the knowledge to give her any credibility and thus clearly comes across as a fake. It's not all about looking pretty, meeting and greeting people!
