The sick bastards seemed to have the support of their family in encouraging the rape so the parents were not isolated in their appalling actions. The rape appeared to follow an illegal marriage ceremony.
Where is the outrage in the Muslim community and why does this story appear to be getting brushed under the carpet.

You know, rape is fast becoming a normal part of childhood for many Muslim girls from allraces. Don't think we are not outraged. Of course we are outraged - but we are screaming in a soundproofed room, disabled by our own hands.
ReplyDeleteMuslimScot condemns such going on's. This is truly disgusting and terrible. These people need to be locked up for a very long time.
ReplyDeleteThese people have the audacity to call themselves Muslim??
Am I missing something here? At no point in the article does it say they were Muslim. Can you clarify this for me? If they were, this is truly and utterly disgraceful and shame on the parents and their relatives for planning this filth. Even if they weren't, it's an abhorrent thing to do.
ReplyDeleteerm they were Pakistanis as per usual.
ReplyDeleteSeems you can't take the village out of some of them no matter where in the world they are. You do wonder sometimes if those folk do not wholeheartedly deserve the Pakistani Taliban.
Something that needs to be pointed out here is that it was statutory rape, not the rape of a forced kind.
ReplyDeleteAny sexual act with someone under the age of 16 is considered rape (two 15 year olds having consexual sex is also technically rape), however by using the word rape, it invoked an emotional response because it is generally
used in the context of violence and force.
That may not have been the case here, in which case it is less horrific - 12 year old have managed to figure out the talk about the birds and the bees and have previously even become parents.
I am not saying that the actions were right or anywhere close, but the summary in this blog post is also misleading.
