Qatar's 2022 World Cup amabasador attacks Islam

Gabriel Batistuta the former Argentina striker is now an official Ambassador for Qatar's 2022 football World Cup bid.

In a recent interview with the BBC, Batistuta who is paid shed loads to represent the aspirations of not only Qatar as a Muslim nation but also the Arab World who understandably aspire to hosting the World Cup said this about Islam:

"The Islamic culture is a question mark for many people across the world"

What an outrageous and bizarre thing to say for someone who has no question mark over accepting money from Qatar and it's Islamic culture.

London Muslim as I've made clear is a strong supporter of Qatar's various sporting bids which is why I urge their 2022 bid to drop Batistuta forthwith as their ambassador.

  1. I think you're taking it too personally - because if you look at it factually - Islam IS a question mark for a lot of people.

Lets stay real people. Lets stay with the here and now.

I wouldn't take this comment personally - she is just stating the obvious.

Business is business - just because someone is your client - it doesnt mean you agree with them, love them, desire their ideals. Just because your boss pays you, it does mean its your duty to love and honorur him like a brother does it?

London Muslim is feeling sensitive today.
