Bus drivers refuse to stop for girls wearing the Hijab

Liverpool is a funny old place. Once a major center for the slave trade the ironically named city of culture now has a new racist claim to fame in the form of its bus drivers who apparently refuse to stop for Muslims wearing hijabs.

Good to know we live in a country that has to adopt the approach of US federal authorities during the civil rights movement by ensuring Police travel on the bus to avoid Muslims being abused once they eventually manage to get on.

  1. Lol, this world is so predictable. I was wondering when it will happen to Muslims even from taxi drivers and it has turned up in Liverpool of all places.

  2. I know exactly what you mean, and then poeple speak os living in a society where democracy is a main priority. I really dont see how people are not treated equally due to what they wear. Since when did clothing become a hazard to society?

  3. This is absolutely rediculous. Those within the main political parties, claiming to represent the muslims in britain again remain silent. They are a bunch of self-serving individuals riding on the wave of policial parties trying to get votes from ethnic minorities.

  5. The question is, would the bus driver stop to pick up a Christian Nun. She wears exactly what a muslim girl wears to certain degree...
