Muslim "pillar of community" denies sexual assault

Janaid Qureshi MBE has denied he abused his position as an influential member of the Blackburn Muslim community to sexually assault a woman in a hotel.

Qureshi claims he was knocking her up on a consensual basis because he was in a "loveless marriage".

He got his gong for "services to the community".

The trial continues.
