Saudi Police ban Valentine's Day

The Muttawa are out in force on the Streets of Saudi in the run up to Valentine's Day to enforce a ban on shops selling any romantic presents. Other Gulf countries seem more relaxed than Saudi.

The ban seems a good idea to me as shops in the West get away with the usual massive rip off while we mugs continue to subscribe to all the retail marketing gimmicks like Mother's Day and inflated prices of flowers, chocolates and Cards.
