The People are reporting that Mr Nasty and Mish are planning two marriage ceremonies one in the USA and one in good old blighty.
Apparently the ceremony here in the UK will be a CoE one with the Parish Priest claiming the issue of Mish being a Muslim wont be a problem.
London Muslim wonders if the ceremony over in LA will be a Muslim one to appease Mish's Muslim family.
I thought muslim women weren't allowed to marry non muslims, but then again religion means nothing to these people so church or no church what's the point

The people who do care about the religion would not behave like the way she is. She is not a muslim in any way and there are alot of muslims out there just like her - "muslim just by name...."

ReplyDeleteMuslims believe in the quran and quran clearly states no fornicating/adultery,no drinking, and follow islam laws - otherwise you will be punished afterlife. None of the above religious comments are a persons own views it is from an islamic view and what islam says. Personally, let the woman be, I am sure she knows about islam but perhaps she decided not to follow/practice it and that is her choice.

ReplyDeleteEvidently she isn't practising and by sharia law, she's unable to marry a none-muslim so therefore a "islamic" wedding is forbidden. The Sheikh they manage to get for the wedding will not pure and the wedding will not be recognised religiously. So in her case, she's better off just having it aknowledged by the state of residence they will live in.
ReplyDeleteAs for all you narrow minded people suggesting muslims going back to caves, islam is based on beliefs that came from the days of Adam through to the Prophet Mouhamad's time...suggesting our caves go as old as christian and jewish caves and are modernised for 600 after Jesus. Therefore our beliefs are 600 years more modern then christians and have been untainted since.

ReplyDeleteA Muslim has to marry a Muslim, period. It doesn't matter if it's a Muslim man or woman marrying a non-Muslim man or woman. There is no double standard there. The non-Muslim has to convert before being able to marry the Muslim. There's a reason for this.
ReplyDeleteDoes it really matter what other Muslims do? Yes it does, because they are our Muslim brothers and sisters, we don't want to see each other be damned come judgment day. Love for Allah should be greater than the love for another of his creation. It is sad to see our fellow Muslims be blinded by worldly things that we all know is just temporary; is only for a short while. It breaks my heart to see my sisters and brothers going astray, i pray that they would come to realization soon. Amin.

As an individual person, without the labels of religion, Mish can marry whomever she likes, it's her life & if that's the way she wants to go, then let her be. But please don't bring Islam into this. What shocks me that no one seems to say anything to christians, jews, hindus, sikhs etc. but if there's a person who supposedly is a muslim involved it all becomes chaos!
