Rifqa Bary for the uninitiated was a young Muslim girl who because of her conversion to Christianity became the pin up girl for Christian evangelicals and a huge sensation in the USA.
Since her conversion to Christianity, Rifqa has sadly contracted an aggressive form of cancer which could unfortunately lead to the removal of her uterus.
My point in writing this post is not in any sense to be implicitly churlish or like others will do refer to divine intervention but to highlight how this little girl has been used by American evangelicals. London Muslim has observed over the past year how the conversion was used to try and distinguish between Christian civilisation and Muslim ignorance. Christian evangelicals in the USA have very few people they can point to as examples of people leaving the Deen but when they find them like Ayaan Hirsi boy do make a fuss.
London Muslim will pray for Barry that she recovers from Cancer because my faith teaches me about the importance of forgiveness however, she allowed herself to be associated with extreme Evangelical characters who insulted our faith which was wrong and unbecoming from any people of the book and those who believe in the Abrahamic faiths.

ReplyDeleteNobody was insulting your faith. They simply disagreed with it. That's not the same thing. Are you threatened by anyone who disagrees with you? I'm not. I have friends who are Muslim, Christian, Jewish, atheist... whateva. Believe what you like. Just don't force it on others and if they don't want to be like you... don't kill them for it. It's not rocket science... just the right thing to do.

They also conspire to undermine Muslims and betray their trusts to gain power over them so they can eventually spread their 'word' of Jesus's love.
Imagine that? After being lied to, betrayed, undermined, tricked, Muslims should live in harmony with these folks.
Not to mention that these types of Christians, who are really American imperialists who use THEIR version of Christianity as moral absolutism, have infiltrated the US military and dominate its leadership. The former head of Gitmo AND Iraqi COIN as well as interrogation of Muslim detainees was a radical born again Christian general.
Eric Prince , Blackwater founder and now head of a private miltiary contractor hired to conspire against Gulf Arab countries for their rulers is an extremist Christian.
The full extent of Christian animosity towards Islam is couched in American global imperialism. As American troops kill 1000s of Muslims regularly, torture, imprison them, destroy their property, Christian imperialists find ways to advance their cause.
