London Muslim does not, like many others enjoy seeing the sexualisation of woman plastered over bus shelters, posters and buses but I don't support criminal damage. Whoever is responsible should make their case within the law by explaining why one finds such posters etc offensive rather than resorting to breaking the law.

Are Muslims censoring Sexy posters in London?
The First Post is reporting that "a wave" of sexy posters with woman in bikinis have been defaced by people using black paint and asks the question are Muslims responsible.

I don't like how it asks "are Muslims responsible" as if Muslims have one opinion on everything. What about Turkish or Balkan Muslims whose countries have similar "sexy posters".
ReplyDeleteI live in Small Heath (birmingham) where the majority of people are muslims. Posters are continually defaced here with white paint if they feature scantily clad women.
ReplyDeleteSeriously? A photo of a woman in a bikini is sexual? You lead a very sheltered life.
