Zakir Naik the Indian Islamic scholar has been banned by Theresa May from entering the UK because of his "unacceptable behaviour" which presumably is code for preaching Islam.
London Muslim wonders why the establishment fear Islam and Muslims so much that they ignore their cherished freedom of speech mantra and resort to control orders when all anyone has to do to learn from Naik is turn the TV on or go online.
The white establishment cannot stomach anyone criticising their system which is why they resort to crudely shutting up the the likes of Naik, Farahkhan etc. Alternatively, if your a white, blonde blue eyed hate preacher by the name of Gert Wilders and you preach hate against Muslims well of course you get feted in Parliament, Consistent?

Trouble is LondonMuslim, we need more moderate and thinking muslims like you.
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't know this man, but we are very frightened of Islam and muslims in general. We know you want to rule the world in your own religion. We realise you loath the decadent west, and call us infidels and unbelivers and drunks and debauchers. You lump us all in together, you think we are all like that, and of course westerners think much the same of muslims. There's very little meeting of minds, although I always find your view interesting.
And less of the white racism, brown and black people are christians and atheists here as well. And of course you will get people like Wilders, because precisely there are people like Naik, they are the extremes in any society, if only moderates were heard life would be moderate for all.
As an Atheist, Islam terrifies me, how can anyone believe in something that's not there I never understand, and that includes all religion.
But Wilders was banned in from entering in 2009 too - allowed in later admitedly.
ReplyDeleteBut why do we need to be lectured by any of these people from either an extreme pro or anti Islam standpoint (yes this clown is an extremist).
Anyone advocating a moderate pro or anti Islam viewpoint has no problem entering the UK.
This is a complete non-story, nothing to do with "free" speech and more of the paranoid "victimisation" we get from the Muslim world.
The message is clear - live and let live and soften your rhetoric and the UK will welcome you. Otherwise go elsewhere or preferably shut it.
Er, Geert Wilders was prevented from entering the UK as well. Where's the inconsistency? Of course there were many who opposed his exclusion, as you oppose the exclusion of Mr. Naik.
ReplyDeleteBut I don't see the double standards...
You silly person. Geert Wilders is an EU citizen and has freedom of movement within the European Union. Zakir Naik is NOT an EU citizen. So to compare the two shows how little you know.
ReplyDeleteLiterally shocking. I am gutted this has happened, is there any explanation of what this 'unacceptable behaviour' is?
ReplyDeleteIslam and Western Democracy are incompatible. Our secular drift away from religious influence on politics, is in stark contrast to Islamic states.
ReplyDeleteWhilst Islam remains a minor influence in Britain, it will be tolerated with British respect for individual eccentricity, but when a growing number of Moslems start to affect national life, problems will inevitably follow.
You can stop Zakir Naik to come to Britain, but you can't stop Islam growing. Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world! This is a fact!
ReplyDeleteAfter the Jedi Warrior.
ReplyDeleteIt never fails to shock me how Muslims cannot "get" or understand that when you go into someone's country and preach loudly that you want to bring it down...
ReplyDelete...THEY WONT LIKE IT.
Is it Islam that wipes out all common sense or something else - because why don't you get that?
Ein volk, ein Reich, ein Fuhrer - wither Freedom of Speech, or is it just the Ford "as long as it's black" version?
ReplyDeletePreach loudly by what measure & what is the quite level that would be okay?
"bring it down" - when & where did he say that about Britain?
So blond-haired, blue-eyed "Aryan" poster kid Geert Wilders (not a Brit) can come to someone else's country?
Nothing but selective hysteria taken out of context & hyped by the MIC corporate media.
I've watched a lot of Dr Zakir Naik talks, debates etc. and I challenge anyone to find me a single thing that he has said that can even be remotely classed as "rude", let alone intolerant, hateful etc. In fact, the irony is that there is probably more Muslim opposition to him than anything else!
ReplyDeleteWhen you go to someone's country and actually "bring it down" through bombs and bullets and dump your form of democracy on them, "THEY WONT LIKE IT".
Hi All,
ReplyDeleteIslam is a beautiful religion like all religions that teaches tolerance and love, everyone has the right to read about it as well as other religions and choose what suits him/her for example there is 35000 americans accepted islam as a way of life after 9/11 attack (which the muslim's had nothing to do with - you can google the conspiracy about 9/11) and thats not due to the attack itself, all it did is brought westeners to read about islam and in doing so they realized that they have been brain washed to hate islam's teachings but after reading the scriptures they realized that its far from what they have been tought about islam, for those who doubt about the authenticity of the holy Quran do yourself a favor and watch Quran and Science by Zakir Naik and think for yourself and not let others think for you.
