Abu-Bakr Shaikh had a novel way of escaping his strict parents he decided to steal over £7000 from a supermarket filling station in St Albans.
This bright spark was not exactly the master criminal as he then told colleagues and police he committed the crime to escape his parents in order to fulfil his dream of being a mechanic which his parents had frowned upon. Not entirely sure why parents wanting more for their son than being a mechanic makes them strict but then who am I to judge. Sadly for the brother he escaped a jail sentence and has to do community service so he still cannot escape Mum and Dad. Clearly he was not on trial at Isleworth Crown Court.
