Muslim and Jews have joined forces to oppose new EU regulations which are set to label Halal and Kosher as "meat from slaughter without stunning".
The labelling does seem more about singling out people based on faith rather than any animal welfare concerns and as the joint statement says Muslims and Jews have been humanely preparing food for thousands of years.

I don't know why you two religions don't join up. You are very very close to each other, especially from the extremist spectrum.
ReplyDeleteI was watching a piece about Israilis buying up Palestinian homes last night, looking at the clothes and the headgear, and the right on, I'm right all the time rhetoric, you are the same people.
I suppose that's why you try to kill each other all the time, because of your similarities, not your differences, including the torture to death of animals.
