A Study by Prof Steven Cohen has shown that UK Jews are more attached to Israel than American Jews.
For some of us that has always been a bit of a no brainer given the political antics of some Jews like Luciana Berger who is also an unashamed Israelite.
What London Muslim found astonishing was 95% of UK Jews visited Israel compared to 40% of American Jews.
For a start, the number of US citizens who hold a passport is very small. Approx. only 10 per cent of the population. And then there's the distance - rather easier for us British Jews to get to our spiritual home than it is for American ones.

The levels of anti-semitism are rising horrifically again and many Jews feel desperate about it. It's getting to the stage when a friend was attacked after a man of arabic origin saw her wearing a Star of David around her neck. This incident happened in Bristol, of all places, and to a nurse who was travelling home after a gruelling night-shift!
With the increasing level of Muslim influence in the UK, some of us feel the only place we can really be safe is in Israel.
I was born and bred in England and love and am very proud of the country which gave my family shelter and sanctuary back in the dark days between the wars (from a Holocaust many Muslims claim never happened and doesn't exist!)
England is my land and I owe it my first allegiance. However, I am also a proud Jew and feel a real spiritual tug to Israel. Whatever and however the imans and radical Muslims continue to say and deny us, as Jews, we have a heritage which leads inexorably back to the land of Israel and our right to live and abide there in ownership and peace. Please just read the Old Testament. As an Englishwoman, I'm an Israelite and proud of it, but I wonder when London Muslim and his ilk ever be truly happy?
When Iran really does push the button and blast Israel to atoms?
Will that really be enough?
How about when the UK is part of the Caliphate and any non-Israeli Jews have been swept up and away in a Muslim finale to the work Adolf Hitler began?
