Eat your heart out Simon Cowell because unlike X Factor and the singing and dancing The "Young Imam" show in Malaysia has young scholars reciting surahs from the Quran to adoring fans.
The winner of the show gets to go on the Hajj, a scholarship to Al Madinah Mosque and mothers offering their daughters for marriage. London Muslim looks forward to seeing the show perhaps if we campaign loud enough on the Islam Channel inshallah.

ReplyDeleteThey've got halal EVERYTHING - halal sausage, halal burgers, chicken, lamb - everything. Quite amazing: now hubby has meat slices for his work-lunch sandwiches and not bemoan his new, unwelcome, Islam-imposed vegetarian lunch diet.
Interesting that Kosher has never really been as big as halal though?

ReplyDeleteWhy is there not much Kosher, well there's only a few hundred Jews here, and there's bloody two and a half million muslims, now I wonder why you don't see kosher meat on sale.Doh!
