I agree they should pay, but not "pay" in the usual Middle Eastern sense where Gulf Arabs sprinkle their copious amounts of easily-acquired cash around and expect this to compensate for their offensive existence.

Given that the victim is brown-skinned and of the labouring class, there isn't a flying hope in hell that they will likely hear anything about this again, let alone suffer any consequences.
