LM wonders why on earth this crook who leads a country that is currently suffering a terrible tragedy in the form of the floods that have displaced and killed so many people thinks its ok to swan around in luxury hotels while his people are suffering so much.
More generally a man who looks like a character out of a Al Capone movie, was suspected of murdering his own wife and has turned pornistan into a byword for violence, terror and torture deserves to be treated with the same contempt as the so called "Islamic Republic".
Trouble is while this twit is here doing what despotic leaders do, indulging in any little thing he fancies, while the poor at home suffer, it leaves Pakistan wide open to the taliban to walk in and help. Much like the BNP, they help the ordinary man, and get thanks through support for the party, and so will the taliban.
ReplyDeleteThis man is such an embarrassment. Not sure your contempt towards the Islamic Republic (aka Pakistan I presume?) is fair though. The country and its people have a lot of love, richness and beauty, qualities the outside world havent been able to see because of Pakistan's historically corrupt leadership.
ReplyDeleteIt's a tragedy seeing the country fall. It's degenerating year by year; Zardari's current holiday in Europe captures beautifully how much he cares about both his country and the unending suffering of its poor.
