Israeli President Shimon Peres calls the English anti-semitic

Shimon Peres in a bizarre outburst claims the English have always been anti-semitic and pro Arab in order to appease the Muslim vote.

I'm not sure if David Cameron's " Prison camp" remark about Gaza prompted this senile Jewish politician to have a pop at the English but he's wrong, after all Balfour to Blair were Englishmen and didn't we liberate the Belsen concentration camp?

Israelites have also recently called us "dogs" which is interesting because these attacks may have deeper racial undertones about the Jewish attitude towards Christians.

  1. He's pissed off because Cameron wants Turkey in the EU that's why, and is talking with Erdogan about it.

  2. Sorry - but you're wrong. Jews have no deeper racial issues regarding Christians. It's Islam not Judaism which preaches either death or enslavement to anyone other than fellow Muslims.

Israel is totally open to the practise of all religions. One only needs to visit Jerusalem to discover the open acceptance and tolerance towards all faiths. Not so true if you're a Christian or heaven forbid, a Jew in most Islamic states.

I agree with the 'Turkey' comment - I believe Cameron is worried about the Turks turning their backs on Europe and seeking more of an alliance with radical Islamic states such as Syria and Iran. He doesn't particularly want Turkey in the EU, but would like to keep them dangling on-side and as pro-western as possible.

As for the Turks - the obvious provocation of Israel was a massive and clumsily managed attempt to both blackmail and bring the EU to heel. Create a bit of pro-islamic outrage and give the West a reminder they still need our airspace etc. and unless they start taking us more seriously and let us join the EU, then we might well succumb to the fundamentalists and become another anti-western state.

    Shimon Peres - senile?

I really don't think so. Learned, experienced, an advocate of peace for many years now, this man, perhaps more than any other Israeli politician, has worked tirelessly towards promoting some sort of tolerance and acceptance between Israel and her Arab neighbours. It really is a cheap dig to denegrate a good man just because he is a Jew!

  3. i think conservatives want turkey in the EU because it will essentially destroy the EU. France and Germany will turn their backs on it.
