Kashmir has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world although sadly its serenity and scenery has been blighted by one of the bloodiest and murderous security crackdowns involving Indian state terrorists.
For some reason Kashmir does not get the same level of publicity as many other tragedies affecting Muslims around the world although Dean Nelson writes a fantastic article in the Telegraph about the suffering of the Kashmiri's and how the world has turned its back on Kashmir.
Sadly when Cameron was in India pointing the finger at Pakistan turning both ways he could have shown some courage and pointed the finger at India the biggest democracy in the world who choose to subjugate murder and oppress Kashmiri Muslims while the world turns a blind eye to what India, like Israel does in the name of democracy.
India is trying to keep Kashmir out of the headlines. Just as Israel is doing the same to the Palestinians. This silence will not last for ever. Kashmir is a ticking time bomb. Their true independence is what is needed. Unfortunately [TPTB] the powers that be are holding Kashmir hostage.

At least the Indian Army does not use helicopter gunships and the Indian Airforce does not bomb villages like Pakistan does in Baluchistan or NWFP.
ReplyDeletePakistan was created as a nation for muslims. but look how they treat muslims in Balochistan. Azad Kashmir is azad only in name. there has been no election there since 1948. at least there are elections in J&K. maybe there is large scale rigging, but that happens in every stae of India.
If the Indian Army was really out to just kill people in Kashmir, do you think they would kill only 60,000 in 20 years? If they wanted, they could have killed over a million.
ReplyDeleteThe Indian Army has court martialled many of its soldiers for human rights violations because they want to reduce such incidents. I am not sure that the Pakistan Army does the same in Balochistan and NWFP.
Each and every day kashmir people facing some troubles in india and pakistan side. Most of pakistan terrorist come for kashmir and attack this places.
