  2. Aaargh - pleeeeease let us use our furqan & not fall for the psychological fallacy of either Muslim or Western.

    Islam is a Deen, & Western relates to geography. Since the whole world is one halal for us, one can logically be BOTH Muslim & Western, as many reverts & immigrant-descended communities are. It is as facile as saying at the time of Muslims in Madinah, saying either Muslim or Makkan.

    But I take the underlying point about "Muslim" (meaning one whose faith & external actions reflect obedience) compared to the oxymoronic jahil "Muslim-origin" behaviour.
