  1. brother you obviously didnt see the youtube footage of youths being run by the edl,it was shameful and although they were kids they should have stood firmer in their own patch.This would have never happened up north believe me brothers,you need to train harder because they will attack again that is guaranteed.The edl are claiming a classic pincer move allowed them to do this although i believe they were confronted a little later and ran themselves.We need to make sure this dosnt happen again we need soldiers not hypsters who cant fight.

  3. lol look at the two videos can you see any violence? What you see is a Muslim army with a number of Sikh brothers approaching 4,000 in total not on the rampage, not attacking the Police simply standing their ground as is their right in their own community waiting to defend their Mosque which clearly upsets you.

    I was there in Highfields and am proud of how Asians not just Muslims stood side by side and conducted themselves with honour and are a credit to their community.

    You sound like a Nazi EDL sympathiser well you have every reason to be worried because we are organising on a larger scale never to attack but always to defend ourselves and our community within the law. Self defence is no crime in English law.

    Yes it is true this happened but knowing Leicester well I would say this is because the brothers there do not have to deal with the racist crap we have to deal with all our lives and the racism we grow up with up north. We are forced to fight from an early age but in Leicester they are not used to this racism they all get on and they live in peace and believe it or not they have never experienced being called a 'paki' or attacked which is quite normal for us in the north.

    But you guys in Leicester better get used to it and learn how to stand your ground thats the only way you'll get respect In Bradford Bolton the EDL were chased away and people stood there ground.

    You guys in Leicester need to start training and getting fit because these EDL guys are nothing but bullys if they know you will fight back they wont turn up which is what happened in Bradford and Harrow.

  5. No I'm a pacifist LM, what you should be doing is getting the police to protect you, surely it makes you as bad as EDL? And don't tell me the police are biased, if they are go to your local MP etc. Go to the police complaints dept. Haven't you heard of Ghandi and his peaceful demonstrations, and mass protest. But if you keep fighting back this will escalate, and you will have the whole of britain fighting each other. If it comes to that, you will be mightily outnumbered, you are still a tiny minority here.

    You see you talk of attack etc. so you see it as an islamic war don't you? But none of you are honest enough to say that, you are just a political party that hides behind a violent religion, that trots out the mantra that islam is peaceful, I think most of britain think that a great joke. lol.

    And no I'm not a member of anything, I'm just an individual that want's people to live side by side, and not fight, peaceful protest yes, and as the british are keeping most of you on the dole, I think you should be grateful.

  8. I reside in Leicester, and I am very pleased to see footage of Asians in Conduit / Maidstone and Kent St. areas. No where else I seen this footage yet. As in local media these images have not had much publicity only a few lines.

    Maybe more should have shown a stronger force at Clock tower. There was a decent show of Sikhs there including my pops. Who were on central news.

    I live a few miles from highfields but was in fields to help our bros and show solidartiy.

    Many Islamic forums have threads about the idiot Guramit SIN(gh) EDL spokespuppet, who has organised the event andvhad many inches in the loacal paper, it is right to cus the guy but then to have derogatory remarks about Sikhi is wrong. Please he said too many bad things but Please muslim bruvs Sikhs HATE that twat, he does not stand for our relgion. His remarks are his not of the Sikh community. We stand with our brothers against those facists. View the local news and Leicester Mercury you can see evidence of Sikhs supporting Muslims against the EDL. There was a meeting at the gurdwara on East Park Rd. Last Sunday all agreed to protest against EDL idiots, and support our fellow brethren. Leicester is renouned for community cohesion so in areas where there is Sikh - Muslim aggression please learn a lesson and stand together, most are punjabi/ mirpuri / kashmiri so we are from the same sort of area and our forefathers lived together for centuries so please stand together now.

    In Leicester most are Gujarati Muslims from India and Africa but we are still UNITED. Leicesters largest ethnic minority the Gujarati Hindus should have also supported the cause but from what I know there was no organised support.

    This sites posters acknowledge Sikhs were ready and supportting our Muslim brothers and sisters.

  9. Ok edl are wrong, and they went the wrong way about it. But what some of there views are, are right. Even I hate the sharia law, I mean why would the koran allow to put someone on the death penalty. Search sharia law on google.

    Look I have many Muslim mates and there all sound, but the way the world is goin, Muslims are going to take over, and when that happens, its going to be a painfull life. Let everyone be there own religion and stop the sharia law.

Lived in Leicester (Highfields) for the past 33 years, got vauge childhood memories when the National Front back in the late 70s / early 80s marched through Leicester and I remember how durring them times everybody ran home and stayed in fearing for their lives. On Saturday 09/10/10 it was an amazing feeling when I saw the whole community unite together and protect Highfields and St Mathews from this evil nazi scum. When I say everyone was out I mean EVERYONE. There were Asians, Blacks, Whites, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Indians, Pakistanis, Bengalis, Somalis, Afghanies,Iraqis, Turks, Albanians and last but not least English. It was so overwhelming to see people who do not reside in Highfields now, but who used to before, to come and show their support (you know who you are) Everybody stood as one and waited for this EDL scum. If they broke the police line there were thousands of us waiting ( many a footage on you tube ). This SCUM EDL claim to be so tough they smashed a take away which was being used by kids and women with babies ( you tube - big johna getting smashed ). The northern brothers are right we need to be more organised and stand tough and not run. With the numbers we had we should have gone into town and chased these sad low life bullies out of town and send the kind of fear up them that they never try and peddle their vile rubbish in Leicester ever again.

Im not inciting anyone to race riot but if your community is attacked you must fight back no matter what religion you are.The edl proved again what they are the foot soldiers of the far right attacking any non-white regardless of sex or age,spreading fear and hatred with the police doing the bare minimum.I shudder when i think what would have happened if the cops hadnt arrived at the burger restaurant when they did.They are targeting muslims mainly for now but soon they will target all ethnic minories,as well as their own;communists,trade unionists,etc,To see them mobbed up picking off innocent bystanders makes it clear violence is the only language they understand and must be dealt with accordingly.If this insane behaviour is allowed to continue as it seems the cops are doing ,these attacks will increase in randomness and severity as the cowardly rats gain confidence.We see they are bullies of the highest order,and believe me they will flee if confronted by strong organised resistance.I did not mean to insinuate that southeners are soft,far from it theres top lads everywhere,what i meant was send in your proper people not young kids and runners.I know they couldnt do this in birmingham or tower hamlets or in some northern town and cities,but what it does mean that all ethnic minorities especially muslims must prepare to defend themselves and make sure next time when youve got a serious mob use it because i believe if they had engaged they would have dealt the edl a serious if not fatal blow.Respect to all who oppose the edl man,woman,black brown white whatever religion because as i mentioned earlier everyone who dosnt agree with these animals to them is fair game.We have been warned.The edl are there for the taking,as splits and cracks are visible,Tommy Robinson is looking to establish his authority and was very active in leicester involved at the frontline trying to enhance his reputation in face of threats to his leadership.I think this was a huge opportunity missed and shows the vulnerability of the edl,which must be exploited sooner rather than later.Some may say im over reacting,or scare mongering giving these low lifes too much attention and publicity they seek,but anyone whos seen the footage,imagine its your mum,your brother in that restaurant terrorised and abused,because next time it could be.We have been warned.

The truth is that mob would not have been able to take on the EDL.I warned the police before the demo that they had inadequate numbers to keep control of these football firms.I was proved right as they broke through in three places.So if 1,500 police with state of the art riot gear can't hold back the EDL its pretty obvious an untrained army with no real experience of violence is going to stand much chance against them.Violence dosen't achieve anything and ultimately the State will always find ways of stamping it out.

  14. Forget the comment above from the fake sikh. I'm white and went down to meet sikhs in town. And three coaches of sikhs got turned back from the centre.

    In town there were black, white, asian, hounding the edl, but not enough, and not enough mdl support. MDL leaders need to start links with all the obvious people. Ex-Highfields some of them. Some football lads. (if you don't know the right ones, don't bother until you do.) Some of the old anti-racists. But only use serious people for a serious situation. Brap brap youths with nothing but mouth will get nowhere.

    There are serious muslim lads in Leicester, and they have to sort this out. The local Leicester edl are talking about more action coming up over the next few weeks, and intimidating the locals. Don't let them get on top of you in any way, or a new paki-bashing culture is on it's way. I'm serious, do not give them inch.

    I don't feel those kids shamed themselves, they had no chance anyway. But don't get involved if you have no chance and are going to run. Image is everything. A big chance missed here. The lads in Highfields could have finished this early.

Agree with the above comment. but also muslims in leicester need to be tougher otherwise we might get embarrassed. get organised, we need togetherness with black youth as EDL fear this big time. We need to work with other communities, especially st mathews and highfields with somali and guiji communities need to come up with a good counter attacking plan
