LM can sympathise with Kanak's Dad however, without wishing to be overly judgemental I just wondered if Dad also considered trying to raise a Muslim daughter?
Moreover, her Dad might also want to consider what Muslim brother would want our Konnie as his Mrs, lets be clear both brothers and sisters do shag around before getting married although Konnie's antics and her wardrobe malfunctions do seem to take the biscuit.
Judgemental much LM? What exactly is the point of your ramblings? Nowhere in that daily mail article does it say Konnie is a muslim (just says her parents are). At the end of the day she is the one who got married, and by all accounts is very happy as are her parents (who just want her to be happy). They sound like pretty good parents to me.
ReplyDeleteThere is no point shoving some outdated religion at your kids if it makes them unhappy. I find it sad that some muslim parents value some religion over their own child's contentment.

ReplyDeleteKonnie is the MOST annoying person on tv. I've HATED her (and i don't believe in hate )since Blue Peter! She has the MOST ANNOYING voice in the world. She is such a typical cocunut who has sold her soul for attention. Everyone i know and comments have read online hates her a lot, especially because she is a big-headed hypocrite! She's seriously embarrassing to any Asian/Muslim/British Asian. The only group she falls into is the fucked up british asians group/cocunuts who don't know where they are from and have serious issues. Someone who is commenting on what their dad preferred like that is obviously desperate for attention. What a loser. Get a life Konnie! And get OFF X-factor! Makes me NOT want to watch the show! You obviously did black magic or shagged all the staff, producers and Simon to get it. Oh and no-one else was available so your cheap efforts worked. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a serious case of "so who am I"..I mean does she even know who she is? Konnie is just a massive wannabe....being in Blue Peter is a far cry from doing "adult" material. All she has done is taint her somewhat basic reputaion as a childrens presenter, by now wearing revealing clothes, tons of make-up and talking utter nonsense because she feels this will make grown ups take her seriously. Why keep her name of "Huq" if she is totally not muslin in any way, again gives off a wrong impression, especially to those of us trying to raise muslim kids to have some sort of self dignity in a western society, and then they see her and think its OK to sleep around and wear short skirts. Choose who you want to be and stick to it....

If you don't want your children watching her, here are some suggestions:
1) Throw away your TV, cut off your internet connection
