Moscow has only 4 major Mosques to serve almost 2 Million Muslims

LM was aware of the growth of Halal in Russia however, Moscow's Muslims are still suffering from a desperate shortage of Mosques for the estimated 1-2 million Muslims not helped by Moscow's EDL equivalent doing all they can to prevent new Mosque construction.

The Council of Mufti's estimate almost 2 million Muslims reside in Moscow and it seems bizarre that authorities are dragging their feet on new mosques forcing Muslims to pray on the sidewalk. Lets hope the probe filed by the Muftis with Moscow's Prosecutor's Office get to the bottom of this unacceptable situation and unlocks new desperately needed land for Muslims.
