Apparently Andy Choudary's mob took time out from their weekly sign on at the Social to intentionally break the silence today on Armistice Day and for good measure burn a few Poppy's.
I hope those today who were silent remembered all who fought and died for this country however, with regard to Andy's mob of Munafiqeen I don't burn Poppy's, effigies, Holy Books etc for publicity or incite violence, I simply choose not to wear a Poppy for the reasons I've already highlighted.

This issue is emblematic of the state in which the muslim community in the UK has allowed itself to end up.
ReplyDeleteWhy are almost all islamic community "spokespeople" and "representatives" so radical? where are the moderate or even secular muslim community groups? every other religious and cultural community in the UK has this diversity of representation yet the moderates in the muslim community consistently fail to wrestle controle of these community groups so that they actually represent mainstream British muslim opinion.
If moderate muslims do not make a stand soon to reclaim their community organisations then the damage done could be irreparable
If this group of radical muslims had stood in silence for 2 minutes, waving placards stating we remember the 100,000s of muslims killed in recent wars, they would have got respect from the public. Instead the public think what pigs.

ReplyDeleteWe had the EDL mob up picketing Harrow Road Police Station after 2 of their lot were lifted in Kensington. There were twice as many police protecting them from being seen off by the local Muslim youth.

Whilst everyone is distracted by these events, the government will do as they please i.e cut public services, reduce benefits, raise the pension age and not to forget to mention bung the banks some more money to prop them up without protest from the public! Too many people will be wound up by nutters on both sides to realise what really going, the cost of living spiralling out of control! How many people are aware that the next round of quantative easing is going to reduce the value of the pound! Most people will realise too late to do anything about it!! The last time when the public was united was when the petrol strikes were on and the government took notice and made sure that this could never happen again, so they made sure that there were divisions and making it easier to manipulate people!!

I agree with 12 Nov 2010 00:19. The book "Disaster Capitalism" by Naomi Klein & "Hidden Aagendas" by John Pilger highlight the money trail enriching the Military Industrial Complex.
They should also burn the WW2 veterans who fought this corrupt and vile war. This is the war that tried to destroy the Islam states and displaced the Palestianians. I hope they burn in hell.

Those of different beliefs have as much right under English, British, European & International laws to live here without being threatened with Ethnic Cleansing.
