Tory Councillor arrested over "stoning to death" Tweet about Muslim journalist

A Tory Councillor in Birmingham who tweeted "Can someone please stone Yasmin Alibhai Brown to death" has been arrested and bailed as well as suspended from the Tory Party.

The language on all sides is rising, people need to calm down and be more sensible. The Tory did not want Yaz stoned to death, it was his attempt at humour however, sadly for him Yaz has kicked off about incitement to Murder which is nonsense but then I'm not the Police or the CPS.

  1. What do you expect LM? It's a muslim complaining as usual. No sense of humour in the muslim world, with, perhaps, the exception of you.

Although it's about time people realised tweets are in the public arena, and free speech is dead here now.

Oh dear, I forgot, with the exception of muslims. r.e. Rememberance Day muslim demo

  2. "muslim complaining" - Nice bigoted generalisation. "No sense of humour in the muslim world" - How would you know, travelled widely, made lots of friends & can speak their languages can you? I doubt it with the facile triteness expressed so casually. Of course we laugh just as mush as any other human beings, a sixth of humanity are not Spock-like aliens. But considering the demonization & violence, naturally some of us can be excused for guffawing at those who laugh at our expense, instead of with us.
