Maria Hardman allowed to wear Hijab after all

LM highlighted the case of Maria Hardman a sister in Boulder America and University of Colarado student who was told by a Judge that she would have to remove her hijab in order to have a Jail photo taken.

Common sense appears to have finally prevailed and the Boulder Sheriff will now allow Maria, a revert to Islam to continue wearing the Hijab so long as she pushes the headscarf further back in order to expose her hairline and ears.

I think Maria, who has told me she will provide LM with her response to the Judge has great ears so come on Sis lets see your ears. This is Maria's previous response to her critics.

While we celebrate a great victory for Maria lets not forget the persecution of other American Muslim sisters like Lisa Vallentine who was arrested by a judge in Georgia for refusing to take her Hijab off in court.
