The taking of any innocent life In Islam is considered a major sin however the absolutely horrific killing of a 4 year old girl by her mother in East London seems to have very sadistic ritualistic and sinister overtones.
Some bizarre Muslims particularly from the Sub Continent do believe in spirits possessing bodies aka (Jinn) and appear to engage in what can only be described as a variation of voodoo black magic to exercise the body which has nothing to do with Islam.
However, the grotesque killing of a poor little girl by cutting out of her organs is utterly incomprehensible, the mother has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act and is where she belongs in a secure mental health unit.

What "ritual" was involved in this killing? Just a random outbreak of madness. The facile ascription of "ritual" can be forgiven if it is said by ignorant non-Muslims, but how can a Muslim explain peddling such ignorance?
