  3. Assalam alaikam, i usually like your blog but i don't like the way you highlight these women. Who cares if she has a tight dress? She is not a role for a muslim women if she dresses like that so why give her your blog space. If you and other brothers want a good old look then start a blog called 'muslim women with hardly any clothes on' because us sisters don't want to see it. Fear Allah.

  5. nothing, just wondering if in the cold conditions should a Weather Girl be setting an example about the need to wrap up warm.

    I'm simply trying and struggling to highlight that Naz of all people seems to have her seasons all wrong by wearing summer clothes in the midst of a freezing winter.

  6. That's not true is it LM, you can't deal with seeing your "Muslim sisters" dressing like Western whores.

    Is she even a practicing Muslim? If you want to live in a country where people get punished for not dressing appropriately why don't you move to Saudi Arabia? It will of course happen here eventually but you will be dead by then.

  7. to those people who think its ok for muslim women to dress up in mini skirts and western clothes then why not get your mothers and sisters to wear the same, forget about hijab forget about islam just go round to the local pub on a friday night and get drunk and sleep around just like the locals do, you guys can be like the westerners because thats what the westerners want, they want you integrated but at the same time i think men are also not exempt and its hypocritical for a man dressed in a suit to spout islam to a woman dressed in a dress.a man should provide an islamic example and dress in islamic clothes then he can rightly criticise a woman for not covering up but our men alas all too often wear western clothing and expect there women to dress islamically.It isnt really fair and allah is never unfair.

  11. Is this not the reason why Muslim women prefer to build a career here rather than behind a veil elsewhere? As an intelligent person which puts me beyond any silly concept of commenting on others based on who/what they worship, I did not notice her religion. I think she lights up my morning breakfast and err thats it.

  12. Hold on a minute everyone...she is a human being...whether she is an eskimo, an indian or whatever she is, she can dress how she likes. Its some of the backward muslims that only have a view like this. She is an individual and as long as she doesn't infinge on others what does it matter??? I am roman catholic, but I might have very different views to all their teachings and to other members. That, my friend is called democracy.....

  13. Democracy is not a tradition is Islamic countries though. Right or wrong they have their standards and are welcome to stick to them. I only get pissed off when anyone, Muslims or otherwise, come into my country and expect me to abide by their standards. If they can democratically change the standards, fair enough but otherwise, if they don't like it then they know what they can do, either put up with it or find a society that fit's their values and move there.

  14. Is she actually even a Muslim? She does have a Muslim sounding name but I've seen some of her tweets referring to sunday roasts and drinking champagne so I don't think she is a Muslim. She does a good job in delivering the weather, that's what matters!

  15. She was prob bought up muslim but that dont mean she follows it. Turkey is a muslim country and some of my friends are turkish and they dont wear the veil, dont pray, drink occaisonly etc. but then thats like alot of Turkish ppl..she is gorgeous though

  20. When you see comments like these I begin to wonder, I work in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh to be exact and the it is getting a little westernised. Women are seen uncovering there faces, these unfortunately is not the case in the UK, where the full hijab is prevalent. We do get the Mut awah asking westerners to cover there hair but not much else. I do not believe Nazaneen is muslim or else she would wear long dresses and cover her arms.

  22. Hey if you have a problem with how women dress then why don't you leave this country? Thank God you lot don't live in Saudi (or maybe you should). This is a country where NO ONE has the right to judge or force how people dress up or down.

    We're okay with your Burkas so be quiet about how we dress so little. Oh and seriously get a job.. and a life!

  25. A disgrace, I agree. She should be wearing less. She seems like an intelligence, vivacious and a warm woman and it doedn't do any harm that she happens to be beautiful. Whether she's a muslim or not doesn't matter, she's independent, has her own life and is a successful woman. There's nothing more attractive than that. A kafir like me would gladly have someone like her as a partner. You're only as much of a man as the kind of woman you wish to have. A man who seeks a weak and servile woman with no 'bite' is not only weak but laughable.

  26. im a muslim male an im fed up of muslims judging each other- concentrate on yourselves and if you want to advise fellow muslims do it in privacy behind closed doors instead of broadcasting your hate in front of the world.

    spread your belief in a sensible and islamic way.

    even if she is muslim its up to her how she what she wants to wear, she is having her own test and will ask for forgiveness in her own way. if it is haraam for her to drink champers and wear short skirts, it is equally haraam that i missed fajr prayer every day this week but i doubt somebody would advertise the fact that i missed prayer online for the world to see.

    for me the fact that a muslim female has succeeded in this country is doing much more for peoples perceptions of islam then someone who sits at home with their head covered sponging off the tax payer!!! (sorry for the generalisation at the end)

    let her and everyone else wear what they want and do what they want to do, theyll have there own judgement, yes you should spread islamic values, but by insulting somebody live on the internet is NOT ISLAMIC!

    i dont care if she is muslim or martian, long may she continue to dress as she wants ans grace the sky weather report.
    for those of you who dont like the way she dresses, you have a number of choices, dont watch tv, dont buy sky, and dont live in the uk.

  30. Whats all the fuss about. She's here in the UK. That's how we dress here. If you dont like our ways here you are always free to leave. Go back to you own country. Please dont try to change ours. I personally wouldnt go to Pakistan to live, then try and get everyone eating pork.
