The Said Business school have an interesting conference next week at Oxford by the recently established Islamic branding and marketing Forum. London Muslim has written about the taboo subject of Gay Muslims before a subject that still touches a raw nerve within the Muslim community and for that matter all communities.

Islam is clear and unequivocal on the subject of homosexuality with both the Quran and hadith condemning sexual relations between persons of the same Sex . However, unlike some fruitcakes like Ahmadinjad who bizarrely state homosexuality does not exist in Iran the reality is it does and we first need to acknowledge their existence before addressing attitudes towards gay Muslims.

The discredited Prevent programme which New Labour euphemistically called " preventing violent extremism" is to be dismantled by Home Secretary Theresa May.

Moreover, Israel also fakes our British passports before carrying out illegal assassinations so we need no lectures from the real dogs about the murder of any innocent civilians.

No surprise also that the whispering campaign against Saudi Arabia's participation in 2012 due to the lack of female Saudi athletes is growing. I think the House of Saud are complete prats for denying women the right to compete internationally in sport and frankly London Muslim would not miss Saudi participation along with Israel which is why a campaign to oppose both Israel and Saudi from 2012 would have my support.

Muslim commits crime to escape strict parents

Abu-Bakr Shaikh had a novel way of escaping his strict parents he decided to steal over £7000 from a supermarket filling station in St Albans.

This bright spark was not exactly the master criminal as he then told colleagues and police he committed the crime to escape his parents in order to fulfil his dream of being a mechanic which his parents had frowned upon. Not entirely sure why parents wanting more for their son than being a mechanic makes them strict but then who am I to judge.
