A report by Faith Matters suggests the number of reverts to Islam in the UK could be as high as 100,000 with approaching 5000 reversions every year nationwide.
Apart from the numbers what LM finds very interesting is the reason people give for reverting which ironically is due to the prominent coverage Islam gets in the media. The irony is because Islam has an enormous negative coverage here in the UK so unwittingly those Neo-Cons and Israelites that regularly spend their time insulting Islam and Muslims are actually contributing to the spread of Islam.
The BBC also reports a study by the Uni of Swansea highlighting record number of reversions and has an interesting video of a sister explaining her reasons for joining Islam.

You are optomistic LM! Don't you think all these young white women, (average age of converting is 27) is just because they fancy some young asian bloke and they get married and convert?

And of course the question of abuse and mistreatment of white girls comes to mind
