Leading Malaysian Television personality Daphne Iking has reverted to Islam following her marriage to Malay businessman Azmi Abdul Rahman.
Apparently following a visit to India's Taj Mahal the beautiful words from the Quran moved her so much that she became spiritually enlightened and wanted to be a Muslim.
Although still involved in a difficult divorce from her previous husband the Nikkah to new husband aka Joe took place in her hometown of Penamopang, Sabah. Welcome to the Deen Sister.
Methinks this is just a conversion of convenience. Correct me if I am wrong, but Malaysia doesn't allow inter-religious marriage between different religious communities, hence this fake conversion.

I'm not sure anyone expects any kids they might have to identify as muslim when they grow up (as the mother usually has most influence on the child by virtue of spending more time with them in childhood). See the 'half muslim' Camilla al-Fayed as an example).
Converting for a man is never a good idea.

Just let her taste some happiness (her choice) after all she had been in a lot of pressured of late. Give some room for her to improved. Every body need a second chance.
