LM highlighted the case of the Pakistani Imam who was charged with raping a boy while he attended the Mosque for Quran lessons.
Today a court found Mohammad Khan guilty of sexually assaulting two boys. Khan is not the first Pakistani Imam found guilty of sexual abuse there have been others and he probably wont be the last. My advice to the Muslim community is literally lock up your kids, supervise them very strictly and never leave them alone unsupervised with a Pakistani Imam who has not had a CRB check.
LM wonders if this sexual pervert also had an arranged marriage and or if Mohammed Shafiq is perhaps coming round to my view that some Pakistani run Mosques up North are not equipped to stop sexual grooming of young children.

ReplyDeleteI always thought about these "job roles" that people have and why they pursue them, and one of my fave ponderings has usually been Priests and Vicars (and now, Imams)- and you have to wonder why any man would seek to live their life like that.
I think some are genuine.
Others are power hungry and want to lead a congregation to their own political agenda and can't achieve this any other way.
The third is because they need an image to hide their sins behind.
I've had issues about trusting the uber-religious for a while now, and every day my stance on this is confirmed.

What do you suggest dismantle all systematic specialists e.g. remember the tabloid reading hysteriacal nuts confusing paediatricians for paedophiles! Muslim can do any thing wrong, but in secret. If he is caught only then it is Haram(illicit). As long as I know Islam is a kind of faith, which can never survive without lies and terrorism.
ReplyDeletePeople! Please!... Calling Sister Jasmine 'stupid' is very unislamic and obviously everyone knows this is a grave sin what the man did. I knew that Catholic priests sometimes are like that, but I have never heard of an Imaam actually sinning in this manner. Generally, I can't really understand how anyway such a person could become an Imaam elected by the community. He should be banned from religious leadership for life. That he is a Pakistani, it is quite logic since the vaste majority of Muslims in the UK are from Pakistan and a certain amount of them are from India, Bangladesh and Somalia (the last one in Africa). So, the majority of mosques are run by Pakistanis. I therefore don't see the problem, though pointing out his nationality was certainly humiliating to the whole of Pakistani community in the UK. For that reason, I don't like that. But living among Pakistanis for 4 years now, I have indeed noticed much perversion in all areas of life among the people I personally know and who are Pakistanis - with all the respect to their ethnicity. It is just reality but obviously, the same situation can potentially happen in any other nation, any other country and any other society. This is not just Pakistanis who might be wrong. There are many people like that Imaam who are not Pakistani. We must not be blinded by the appearences... ;* Shame that it's one more reason for the Islam-haters to have a bad image of Muslims and their faith... :-( Peace!

Hate the sins not the sinners . Siners are available in all communities . We should try to spread true teachings of Islam and the punishment for such sins by Islamic law which is not possible to implement in UK /EU.Islam is the solution for humanity. Islam is the way of life for peace in this world and hereafter.
