Occasionally in life one can end up being the beneficiary of unintended consequences.
About a week ago I noticed a significant increase in readership from the Far East so LM put on my Sherlock Holmes hat and interrogated my analytics/stats to establish what was going on.
This typically cheeky post which was intended to contrast Paris Hilton's dress sense with that of Mezghan Hussainy, appears to have been the main interest and focus point. A rumour seems to have spread initially in Singapore then Malaysia and Indonesia before like wildfire spreading to North America and Europe that Paris Hilton had reverted to Islam.
LM has no problem with literally thousands of new readers every day or for that matter Paris Hilton becoming a Muslim however, given they appear to be under a misapprehension about Paris Hilton I posted this article in the genuine belief it would clarify the situation and bring closure.
While perhaps the picture was a bit cheeky and possibly inadvertently contributed to the confusion I now find that what can only be described as the online equivalent of mass hysteria appears to have broken out with thousands more arriving on this blog in the belief that Paris Hilton has reverted to Islam.
Can LM for the last occasion try and make clear that Ms Hilton is not a Muslim, she has not reverted to Islam, does not wear a Hijab, her new name is not "Tahira" and she will not be opening a new Islamic school in Hollywood. However, should anyone out there be in a position to get a statement from her PR guys I'd be extremely grateful.

ReplyDeleteHow is it that you have gone through some much effort to dis prove someones islam, mean while muslims lands are occupied, muslims are being raped and killed daily, and there is no shariah implemented any where on Allahs earth. Maybe if the sun news paper, sky news etc (all jewish compamies and open enmies to islam and muslims) ran the storie then you would belive it. you have spent so much time and effort looking ibti the heart of someone when Allah alone know the heart we judge the appent, ther are pic of her praying and making dua but yet you call her a kafir? while those who are in ruling over muslims lands and commiting clear cut kufar you call them mualims even though they have negated their islam with their actions. Paris Hilton has not negated her islam thus far yet you spend time gathering futile evidence that she is not mulsim, ask for a statment from herself or agent which is aready availible on the net link...

Apprently Paris Hilton is Muslim, she has made explict statments rejecting her old life life, so dare anyone say she is not a muslim until she negates her islam thru her actions or speech.
FEAR ALLAH as the Propet Muhamed (saw) said" the one who calls the muslim a kafir they themself get recorded by the angels as a kafir".
I Myself gave up a life of so called success for the truth way of islam, I am Anthony small the former British and commenwealth boxing champion. the Kufar and hypocrite claimed I threw my life away and aslo that i aint real, just as they are doing with Paris hilton, this is because they have no idea what eman (belief in Allah his angles his books, the dasy of judgment, paradise and hell, devine decree) is and how once one has obtained it they would not give up anything in this, not fame, fortune, riches popularity all of it is given up in a heart beat as eman enters that same heart.

I aint a not a net blogger as im too busy trying to take over the world with islam inshallah, fulling the verse in the quran [9:33] where Allah says "it is He who sent the messanger Muhamed (saw) with the religion of truth ie Islam in order that it dominate over all other ways even if the kufar hate it". About Paris, guys its her choice, if she wants to become a muslim then its up to her, there is no need for rumors without evidence, let her say it herself, we dont have the right to decide for her.

For now though, he is just an 'Assailant ', 'Attacker' (Reuters), 'Gunman' (BBC, CNN & Al Jazeera). Looks like 'Terrorist ' is a name reserved for Muslims? wow... love your blog. interesting thread too. as an american woman who was raised christian but not convinced it is the only path to salvation, i wanted to chime in. nothing is absolute. i find that the more extreme you are in any religion, the more you miss the point. i think paris hilton lives her life in a gross way but, really? is london muslim going to hell for posting her picture with a lower neckline? some people in the west think it's oppressive to women to have (or choose) to cover their heads (or wear a burka). as a woman who has muslim friends, i think we need to respect where people are on their life path. if my friend has made the decision to cover her head, i respect that. if paris has not come to that realization or if is not in a culture to dress a certain way, i respect that too. regardless of where she lands as far as religion, i hope she learns some self-respect and can carry herself in such a way that will make people respect her as a person and not objectify her.
