Robert Halfon is a nasty Israelite who was Political Director of the Conservative Friends of Israel and never misses an opportunity to bash Muslims in Parliament.
Given his virulent Israelite credentials Halfon the MP for Harlow has made it his business to champion Israel while also attacking the Muslim organisation Engage who promote Muslim political awareness.
Last night, Halfon who is disabled, tried to hijack a debate on All Party Groups in order to pursue his miserable vendetta against Engage. Using Parliamentary privilege his use of words like "Fascism" to express unease about why Engage should not be allowed to be Secretariat for the new APPG on Islamophobia was pathetic.
However, the Halfon (who did not declare his Israelite interests) attempt to smear Engage, increasingly resembled a car crash as the Deputy Speaker warned him on several occasions to stick to the motion. Sensing his embarrassment and difficulty the usual Israelite suspects like disgraced expenses cheat Labour MP Dennis MacShane and John Mann intervened to try and help him all to no avail.
LM congratulates Simon Hughes for putting on record as an Officer of the APPG that Halfon was not being factual which appears to be parliamentary language for lying. In addition, LM finds it interesting that Halfon let slip his own true opinions when he described the APPG as being "for" Islamophobia rather than "on" Islamophobia, something picked up by Chris Bryant who corrected him.
Rather than being upset over this continued abuse of Parliamentary privilege, LM believes Engage should consider these smears by an Israelite creature as a badge of honour. When Israelites are worried you can be sure whoever the victims are of their latest character assassination attempt must be doing something right.

SalaamAlaikum,
ReplyDeleteWe wanted to first of all thank you for your supportive post. May Allah (SWT) reward you.
We want to also thank everyone who has signed the petition supporting ENGAGE in its role as Secretariat to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Islamophobia. The response to the petition so far has been great and we would encourage anyone who hasn’t yet signed to take a minute to show their support by signing the petition at http://www.petitiononline.com/iengage/petition.html.
We would also encourage all London Muslim blog readers to write to Simon Hughes and Sir Peter Bottomley thanking them for their welcome interjections, highlighting that there are two sides to the story and that the statements of Robert Halfon are merely his opinion and not necessarily factually and objectively accurate.
Their contact details are:
Simon Hughes MP - simon@simonhughes.org.uk
Sir Peter Bottomley - bottomleyp@parliament.uk

Halfon M.P. popped up on this evening's edition of "London Tonight", highlighting
ReplyDeletethe thugish behaviour of a White Yob,
who had conducted a five year campaign of harassment against his OAP neighbours.
Maybe, just maybe, Halfon wouldn't have exercised his pea-size brain, had the OAPs
been Muslim .........
The treatment of iEngage by Mr Halfon MP has been outrageous. However. I would urge LM not to stoop to his level with name calling. The term Israelite is defined here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israelites
ReplyDeleteIt is unbelievable that London Muslim would call Robert Halfon "a nasty Israelite" and that iengage would then link to this post as "Best of the Blogs". This does no credit to iengage. Surely it is obvious that to call someone "a nasty Israelite" is to imply that one hates Jews? If you think of the main word that is used by racists to abuse British Asians, and then imagine that I had called a British Muslim MP "a nasty -", then it surely becomes obvious that this is racist language. Any legitimate criticisms that you might have regarding Mr Halfon's actions as an MP are completely undermined by your choice of language. And, in the context of your article, what is the relevance of your reference to Mr Halfon being "disabled", as you put it? What does that have to do with anything?
